Professional Service Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Encoding of video and audio media
• Administration of media data
• Testing of multimedia content
• Administration of content playout
• Provide feedback and suggestions to professional services and development where applicable.

Professional knowledge, skills and abilities

• MS Windows and software related knowhow;
• MS Office and software related knowhow;
• Basic knowledge in media encoding / media formats;
• Unix/Linux basic knowhow;
• Basic knowledge in UNIX shell;
• Knowledge in project management is a plus;

Personal Skills

• German is a MUST
• Fluent English - written and oral.
• Good communications skills
• Ability to work in a multi-culture environment
• Structured and analytic way of working
• Stress resistant and willing to work in a fast paced environment

Credentials and Qualifications

• Degree in school for higher technical education
• Degree or study in IT (Fachhochschule or university) or comparable job experience is a plus
