New OEM Software Receiver for Mobile DVB-T
Reception is now available
IBC, Amsterdam, September 9, 2004 - deuromedia technologies,
leading provider of broadband solutions software, today announced
that the OEM version of its Sharky Digital Receiver Software
is now available. With Sharky and the Mobile Terrestrial Receiver
from SCM consumers can receive digital terrestrial broadcast
TV and radio (DVB-T) programs and use data services on their
laptop PCs, tablet PCs or PDAs with a PCMCIA interface.
With the OEM version also digital satellite (DVB-S) and cable
(DVB-C) broadcast TV and radio programs can be received. In
addition the software enables consumers to playback and to
record broadcast programs as well as to receive multiprotocol
encapsulated data. Thanks to the separate EPG interface it
is possible to program the recording of broadcast programs
for several days in advance. Further features of the Sharky
include time-shift functions, videotext and subtitles. Based
on the Windows Explorer Software the Sharky is easy and intuitive
to use.
