Deuromedia, leading provider of broadband solutions software, presents its new software product for CATV, DTT and housing operators at the IBC: the deuromedia end-to-end iTV platform, which enables every CATV/DTT operator to offer localized premium services to the TV viewers with a new interactive experience potential.

It merges digital national TV broadcast feeds with localized content and interactive services like HTML portal, digitext, premium EPG and targeted adds. The services are receivable on any standard MHP box and in addition on low-cost - no Java middleware - STBs.

The deuromedia iTV Platform provides local broadcasters a cost effective, easy to operate, open-standards-based digital solution to win over the TV viewers. With the iTV Platform network operators can open new markets with distinctive, more accessible, more attractive services based on local contents.

The solution is based on the open DSMCC standard.

The integrated content management tool enables network operators to convert and PAL-optimize existing HTML content and also to generate new content from scratch. The integrated Subscriber Management System allows addressing of each service to target group of users.

The deuromedia iTV Platform will be shown at the IBC on Stand 5.210.
